Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian: COVID-19 telah menjadi ancaman kesehatan global sejak ditemukannya pasien yang pertama kali terpapar pada Desember 2019 di Wuhan, Cina. Salah satu komplikasi serius neurologis terkait COVID-19 adalah stroke. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas prognosis pada pasien COVID-19 dengan komplikasi stroke.


Metode: Penelitian studi literatur ini menggunakan 20 artikel dengan kriteria inklusi artikel jurnal internasional terindeks Scimago yang dipublikasian pada tahun 2018 hingga 2022. Artikel pada penelitian ini diambil melalui Google Scholar, PubMed, dan ScienceDirect.


Hasil: Subtipe stroke tersering pada pasien COVID-19 adalah stroke iskemik dan diikuti oleh stroke hemoragik. Insiden kumulatif pasien COVID-19 dengan stroke iskemik menunjukkan perawatan di ICU yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan pasien COVID-19 dengan stroke hemoragik yang lebih jarang ditemukan diantara pasien rawat inap tetapi memiliki angka kematian yang lebih tinggi


Kesimpulan: Stroke hemoragik pada pasien COVID-19 mengindikasikan prognosis yang lebih buruk dengan angka kematian yang tinggi dibandingkan dengan stroke iskemik pada pasien COVID-19 yang memiliki prognosis yang lebih baik dengan angka pasien pulih yang lebih banyak.
