Abstract
Exoftalmus merupakan manifestasi paling umum terjadi pada Thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy (TAO) atau Grave’s Ophthalmopathy (GO). Dimana GO bisa terjadi pada pasien dengan hipertiroid, hipotiroid ataupun eutiroid. Katarak sendiri merupakan penyebab utama terjadinya gangguan penglihatan di dunia.
Pada laporan kasus, pasien laki-laki usia 60 tahun datang dirujuk dari RS lain dengan keluhan kedua mata kabur dan menonjol. Pada pemeriksaan fisik didapatkan visus okuli dextra 1/60 dan okuli sinistra 1/300, kedua mata proptosis, dan pada pemeriksaan segmen anterior terdapat kekeruhan pada lensa. Tidak didapatkan pembesaran kelenjar tiroid, kadar FT4 normal yakni 1.28 ng/dL. Selanjutnya pada pasien dilakukan operasi katarak secara bertahap dengan tehnik ECCE disertai pemsangan IOL dan kemudian diberi obat tetes mata Xitrol Eyedrop dan Lyteers Eyedrop dilanjutkan dengan control rutin berkala untuk evaluasi.
